Temporary closure of Boone Industrial Drive rescheduled

(Columbia, MO) -- The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announces that on Thursday, Feb. 28, beginning at 7 a.m., Emery Sapp and
Sons Inc. will relocate a waterline along Highway 763. This work will
result in a temporary road closure of Boone Industrial Drive. 

A detour route will be set up utilizing Brown School Road, then south
on Interstate Drive. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise
extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route
when possible. 

The work should be completed and the road fully by the end of Thursday,
weather permitting. For questions concerning this project, contact the
