City builds on the past to serve the future: 
Open house celebrating City Hall lobby renovation set for March 6

	(Columbia, MO) -- An open house celebrating the completion of
Phase I - Lobby Renovation of the City Hall Renovation and Expansion
Project will be held Thursday, March 6, from 5-7 p.m. in the Daniel
Boone Building, 701 E. Broadway. The event will include a 5 p.m.
ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours of the new Finance Administration,
Treasury Management and Utility Services offices and refreshments.
	The City Hall Renovation and Expansion Project will provide the
community a 
one-stop, consolidated city services center in the heart of downtown.
Phase II includes a five-story addition east of the Daniel Boone
Building. Phase III includes extensive renovation of the rest of Daniel
Boone Building. The entire project is scheduled for completion by 2010.
