Human Rights Commission and Cherry Street Artisan sponsor '2008 Martin
Luther King Jr. Youth Speak!'

COLUMBIA, MO (January 9, 2008) - The Columbia Human Rights Commission,
in collaboration with Cherry Street Artisan, will sponsor “Youth
Speak!” Thursday, Jan. 24, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. It will be hosted at Cherry
Street Artisan, located at 111 S. 9th St.

Students in 4th-12th grades who submitted an original artistic
expression for the 2008 Columbia Values Diversity Celebration Literary
Booklet is invited to participate. “Youth Speak!" is an opportunity to
share your entry - poetry, rap, spoken work, song or music - live on
stage.

The public is welcome to attend this free event. Contact Nanette Ward
