Eighth Street will reopen to two-way traffic

 (COLUMBIA, MO) -- The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announces that Eighth Street will reopen to two-way traffic between
Walnut and Broadway today. This section of Eighth Street has been
partially closed during excavation work for the new addition to City
Hall. 
There will be limited parking along Eighth Street between Walnut and
Broadway during building construction, which is expected to last through
2010. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution
when in the construction area.
