Harvard Storm Drainage & Street Improvement Project
			
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announces that beginning the week of Nov. 17, J.C. Industries Inc. will
begin construction on the Harvard Drive Storm Drainage & Street
Improvement Project. This work consists of placement of new curb and
gutter, construction of rain gardens for water quality, new street
pavement and drainage structures. The project will result in temporary
lane restrictions on Harvard Drive. This project is being funded by
storm water enterprise revenue at an estimated cost of $115,900.
	The work should be completed by late winter to early spring
2009, weather permitting. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to
exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an
alternate route whenever possible.
