Public meeting scheduled for Douglass Park improvements

COLUMBIA, MO (November 14, 2008) - The Columbia Parks and Recreation
Department will hold an interested-parties meeting for proposed
improvements to Douglass Park, including the addition of a water
spraygrounds feature and improvements to the baseball/softball field. 

It will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, at the Armory Sports
Center, 701 E. Ash Street. 

Residents will be able to offer their input on the design and
development of the park improvements. Park planners will share
preliminary concept plans.
