Interested parties meeting for GetAbout Columbia
projects
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announces an
informal public meeting for four projects related to the GetAbout
Columbia program. The meeting will be held Wednesday, Oct. 29, between
5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E. Broadway, in
the mezzanine conference room.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss proposed new
sidewalk/pedways for:
● Broadway (Fairview to Stadium, on north side)
● Providence Road (Blue Ridge to Smiley, on east side of the
right-of-way )
● Range Line (Business Loop 70 to Big Bear Boulevard, on
east side)
● Worley (West Boulevard to Clinkscales, on north side)
Information, maps and diagrams for these projects will be
available for public review at the meeting. City staff and consultants
will be present to answer questions and receive comments. These
infrastructure improvements are part of the overall $22 million
non-motorized pilot program being funded by the Federal Highway
Administration.
