O’Rear Road closed next week

(Columbia, MO) - The Columbia Terminal Railroad (COLT) will
start repairing the railroad crossing on O’Rear Road in the village of
Browns Station on Tuesday, Oct. 28, weather permitting. The work will
require the road be closed from Tuesday morning until late afternoon on
Friday, Oct. 31. A detour around the project site will be set up. This
project was originally scheduled to be started on Oct. 14 but was
delayed due to weather conditions.
The COLT is a short line railroad owned and operated by Columbia
Water & Light. It provides railroad freight service to Columbia and
mid-Missouri.
