Workshop for arts organizations	
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city’s Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA),
in collaboration with Volunteer Accountants for the Arts (VLAA), will
offer a workshop on basic arts administration called the “Accidental
Arts Administrator.” The session will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6,
5:30-8:30 p.m. at Columbia’s Activity and Recreation Center (ARC),
1701 W. Ash.
	Based in St. Louis, VLAA works to provide support to artists and
arts organizations statewide. Sue Greenberg, VLAA’s executive
director, will lead the workshop. Topics to be covered include working
with a board of directors, marketing, fund raising and financial
management. A 100-page manual will be provided to all participants. 
 	Advance registration is $15 per agency plus $5 for each
additional person from the same agency. Registration at the door will be
$25. An optional meal will be provided for $8. For more information and
