Public meeting scheduled for Rock Quarry improvements

COLUMBIA, MO (September 16, 2008) - The Columbia Parks and Recreation
Department will hold an interested-party meeting for proposed
improvements to Rock Quarry Park, including the addition of basketball
and tennis courts. 

It will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, at Rock Quarry
Park, 2002 Grindstone Parkway. 

Residents will be able to offer their input on the design and
development of the park improvements. Park planners will share
preliminary concept plans.
