Bike lane striping and symbols on city streets	
							
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announces that beginning Monday, Sept. 29, Park Mark will begin striping
bike lanes on Worley, Smiley, Shepard, Maryland, Keene, Texas, Scott
Boulevard, Garth and various other streets, weather permitting. The work
should be complete on Tuesday, Sept. 30, by 9 p.m. On Monday, Oct. 13,
and continuing through Friday, Oct. 31, Park Mark will paint bike
symbols on these same streets, weather permitting. Motorists
encountering the paint-striping equipment should avoid crossing freshly
painted lines and use an alternate route whenever possible.
