Bike lane striping and symbols on city streets revised start
date
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announces that beginning Monday, Oct. 13, Park Mark will begin striping
bike lanes on Worley, Smiley, Shepard, Maryland, Keene, Texas, Scott
Boulevard, Garth and various other streets, weather permitting. Once the
bike lanes are striped, Park Mark will paint bike symbols on these same
streets. The project should be complete by Oct. 31. Motorists
encountering the paint-striping equipment should avoid crossing freshly
painted lines and use an alternate route whenever possible.
