Picnic in the park fundraiser for Adapted Community Recreation

COLUMBIA, MO (April 14, 2009) - Columbia Parks and Recreation’s
Adapted Community Recreation program is hosting a picnic and art sale
fundraiser. 

The picnic in the park and art sale will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
on April 21 at the Riechmann Pavilion in Stephens Lake Park. The price
is $5 for a picnic consisting of hot dog or hamburger, coleslaw, chips,
baked beans, dessert and drink. 

In addition to the picnic, a variety of art made by local artists will
be available for purchase. 

All proceeds from the picnic and art sale will benefit the Adapted
Community Recreation program that is housed at Paquin Towers.
