Parks and Recreation Presents Family Fun Fest: It’s a Circus!

Don’t miss out on the fun!  The next Family Fun Fest will be held
from 6-8 p.m. on August 19 at Flat Branch Park (4th and Cherry and
Locust).

Calling all…young or young at heart, don’t miss out on It’s a
Circus!  The Big Top Circus Band will be performing circus music and Ann
Gaefke’s performing dogs will delight the crowd.  This night will also
include two magic shows starting at 6 & 7 pm and a juggling performance.
 


The Fun Fests are held the third Wednesday of each month through
October.  The Family Fun Fests are sponsored by KPLA 101.5, Columbia
Convention & Visitors Bureau, Columbia Home & Lifestyle Magazine and
KOMU 8.

The Fun Fests feature a new theme each month. Each one will be held
from 6-8 p.m. and is free. Entertainment for the entire family will
feature music, special performances, art activities, bounce-houses,
balloon-animals, face painting and guaranteed fun for all ages. Also,
don’t miss out on the City of Columbia’s very own firetruck.

Don’t forget the Broadway Diner is open during the Family Fun Fests,
right across from Flat Branch Park.
