COLUMBIA, MO - Finish off the “dog days” of summer at
Albert-Oakland Family Aquatic Center! The pool will stay open one extra
day for dogs with the Second Annual Pooch Plunge. 

The event will be held September 8. Dogs weighing 25 pounds or less can
swim from 5:30-7 p.m. and dogs 26 pounds and heavier will swim from
7:15-8:45 p.m. The price is $4 per dog.

Only dogs will be allowed to swim, although they must be accompanied at
the pool by an adult. Owners are responsible for cleaning up any
accidents. 

The slides at the pool will not be available during the pooch plunge.
Friendly dogs only will be allowed to swim.

Recreation at 874-7460.
