Go Skateboarding!

COLUMBIA, MO - Don’t miss Go Skateboarding Day! This event, in honor
of National Skateboarding Day, will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on
Saturday, June 20 at the Columbia Skate Park in Cosmo Park. Participants
will enjoy skate team demos, free time to skate and helmet giveaways. It
is free of charge.  

All ages are welcome to participate and the event is open to skaters of
all skill levels and for those who just want to watch. Participants will
be able to enter a high ollie contest and a best trick contest for a
chance to win prizes.  Helmets are required for both contests,
regardless of age.  The day will also feature great music and food, as
well as a raffle and give-aways.

Go Skateboarding Day is presented by Columbia Parks and Recreation,
Parkside Skates, Tiger Pilot Club, and Youth Community Coalition.
