Temporary lane restrictions on Hitt Street
COLUMBIA, MO (March 20, 2009) - The city of Columbia Public Works
Department announces that beginning Tuesday, March 23, Taos Construction
will be working on Hitt Street near Defoe Hall. Crews will be relocating
a fire hydrant at Defoe Hall. This work will result in temporary lane
restrictions on Hitt Street, south of University Avenue. Work should be
completed on Friday, March 27, weather permitting. Motorists and
pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone
and use an alternate route whenever possible.
