Groundbreaking ceremony planned for Maguire Boulevard extension
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia invites the public to a
groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of Maguire Boulevard on
Wednesday, April 1, at 8:30 a.m. The ceremony will be held at the east
end of Stadium, near the new Crosscreek Center Development.
	This project will consist of new street pavement and two bridges
from the existing Maguire Boulevard northward to Stadium Boulevard.
Expected completion date is spring 2010. The contractor for this project
is Emery Sapp and Sons. Construction cost is $6.9 million, which is
funded by the Special Road District Tax, ¼ cent Capital Improvement
Sales Tax, capital fund balance, development fees and developer
contributions.
