Public hearings scheduled for Sewer District 163 and Sewer District 164

								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announces the
following public hearings to be held Monday, Oct. 19, during the
regularly scheduled City Council meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. in the
Council Chambers, fourth floor of the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E.
Broadway. 

Sewer District 163 Ballenger Lane/Aztec Boulevard Project
	The proposed project includes extending sanitary sewer to four
parcels of land. The estimated construction cost to extend public sewers
to all four lots is $85,000. The entire cost of this project is proposed
to be paid from tax bills levied against the properties within the sewer
district.  

Sewer District 164 Manor Drive Project
	The proposed project includes constructing sanitary sewer on two
parcels of land currently served by a private common collector system.
Estimated construction cost to extend public sewers to these two lots is
$80,000, which will be paid for by sanitary sewer utility funds.
