The PedNet Coalition Hosts A Bicycle Stakeholder Meeting
                (COLUMBIA, MO) – The PedNet Coalition will host a
"Bicycle Stakeholder Meeting" on Wednesday, September 30, from 6:00 to
9:00 p.m. at the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and
Human Services, 1005 West Worley.  
                The goal of this meeting is to bring local politicians,
law enforcement agencies and bicycling organizations together for an
open and honest discussion about the current state of affairs for
bicyclists and how we can make our community more bicycle friendly in
the future. Topics will include safety issues facing bicyclists,
improving public relations and how we can increase law-abiding behavior
in all bicyclists.  
                The meeting will follow a “Café Conversation” format
where people move from table to table sharing and discussing ideas. It
includes both small-group and large-group discussions.  
                The PedNet Coalition is holding a limited number of
"at-large" invitations for the general community to participate.
