Councilman Thornhill to host second annual Ward 2 Neighborhood Safety
Workshop
 
COLUMBIA, MO (April 27, 2010) - 
 
When: Tuesday, May 11, from 6:30 – 8 p.m.
 
Where: Grace Bible Church, 601 Blue Ridge Road
 
What: Councilman Thornhill invites Ward 2 residents to learn and share
more about the state of safety in their neighborhoods.
 
Format: Speakers will include Councilman Thornhill and representatives
from Columbia Fire Department; Columbia Police Department and Office of
Neighborhood Services.
 
Subjects: Updated crime statistics and trends; emergency preparedness
tips; Neighborhood Watch; homeowners association information
 
Brief presentations from each city department; time for questions and
answers; opportunity for one-on-one exchanges
