Residential trash and recycling collections are canceled for Friday,
Jan. 8
							
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia announces that residential
trash and recycling collections for Friday, Jan. 8, are canceled due to
minus 30 degree wind chill temperature predictions. Commercial trash
will still be collected on schedule. The landfill will remain open. 
	The Solid Waste Division will resume collections on normal
schedules next week. Sorry for any inconvenience, but these steps are
necessary for employee safety. For more information, call (573)
