Family Fun Fest: Explore Outdoors!
 
ColumbiaParksand Recreation is offering Family Fun Fests the third
Wednesday of each month at FlatBranchPark. The Fun Fests feature a new
theme each month. 
 
The next family Fun Fest will be from 6to 8 p.m.on June 16 with the
theme “Explore Outdoors.”   Featured performers will be the “Fishin’
Magicians,” who will perform at 6, 6:45and 7:15 p.m.
 
The event will also feature a variety of activities and booths from
various organizations such as Bass Pro Shops, Missouri Department of
Conservation, Department of Natural Resources, Missouri River Relief,
National Fish & Wildlife Services, City of Columbia’s Public Works,
Parks and Recreation’s CARP program and more. 
 
Also, kids will have the chance to see a fire truck from the City of
Columbia.
 
The Family Fun Fests are sponsored by the Convention & Visitors Bureau,
KPLA 101.5, KOMU 8 and Columbia Home & Lifestyle Magazine.
