Lane marking and bike symbol work extended

(COLUMBIA, MO) – The Public Works Department announces that Park Mark
will continue to paint lane markings and bike symbols through May 28,
from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m, including over the weekend. Rain has delayed this
project, so work is being extended through next week.
The following streets are receiving bike lane markings: Ash, Garth,
Woodard Drive, Mexico Gravel Road, Vandiver Drive, Smiley, Rainforest
Parkway, Grant, Fairview and College Park. Shared lane markings will be
placed on Garth, William, Ash, Carter Lane, Manor, Clinkscales,
Woodlawn, Rollins, Bethel and Fairview.
City crews will re-stripe the normal lane markings at the same time.
Motorists encountering the paint-striping equipment should avoid
crossing freshly painted lines and use an alternative route whenever
possible.
