Bike lanes to be marked on Washington Avenue
(COLUMBIA, MO) – The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces
that on Friday, May 28, from 12 to 4 p.m., the Public Works Street
Division will mark bike lanes on Washington Avenue from Hickman to
Wilkes. Due to this project, there will be no parking on both sides of
Washington from Hickman to Wilkes until after 4 p.m.
Motorists encountering the paint-striping equipment should avoid
passing the equipment or crossing freshly painted lines and should use
an alternate route whenever possible.
