Bike lanes and symbols to be marked
        
(COLUMBIA, MO) – The Public Works Department announces that Park Mark Inc. will mark bike lanes and symbols on Nov. 5 and Nov. 8, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting. 
 
Schedule for Friday, Nov. 5:
• West Boulevard, from I-70 Drive to Stadium
• Oakland Gravel Road, from Vandiver to Smiley
• Derby Ridge, from Blue Ridge Road to Brown School Road
 
Schedule for Monday, Nov. 8:
• Hanover Boulevard, from Route PP to Riley Lane
• Rice Road, from Ballenger Lane to Shamrock
• Osage Drive, from Rice Road to Lillian
• Lillian, from Osage to dead end
 
The days that crews will be painting there will be no parking on the streets listed above. Motorists encountering the paint equipment should avoid crossing freshly painted lines. There will be lane restrictions when crews are working in these areas. This project is part of the GetAbout Columbia $22 million non-motorized pilot program being funded by the Federal Highway Administration.
