Lane closures for GetAbout Columbia’s Providence Bikeway South project
(COLUMBIA, MO) – As work continues on GetAbout Columbia’s Providence Bikeway South project, crews will work on several intersections of Providence Road beginning Tuesday, Oct. 26, weather permitting. This work will result in the following closures:
• The right turn lane on Providence to South Hampton will close on Tuesday, Oct. 26 and be closed for two days.
• The right turn lane on Providence to Old Plank Road will close on Wednesday, Oct. 27 and be closed for two days.
• The right turn lane on Route K to Highway 163 at Rock Bridge Elementary will close on Thursday, Oct. 28, and be closed for two days.
Motorist should use extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible. This project is part of the $22 million non-motorized pilot program being funded by the Federal Highway Administration.
