Sewer work for Manor Drive will affect traffic on Maplewood
COLUMBIA, MO (September 9, 2010) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announces that C.L. Richardson will begin installing new sewer lines on Manor Drive, known as Sewer District 164. This work will result in the following road closures:
On Tuesday, September 14, the southbound traffic on Maplewood Drive will be reduced to one lane between 105 and 107 Maplewood Drive, weather permitting.
On Wednesday, September 15, Maplewood Drive will be closed completely between 105 and 107 Maplewood Drive. This section will be reopened on September 16, then closed again the week of September 20 in the same location, weather permitting.
This project includes constructing sanitary sewer on two parcels of land currently served by a private common collector system, which is one of the sewer ballot projects approved by voters in 2008. Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution when driving in the work area and use alternate routes when possible.
