Traffic signal work at Seventh and Broadway

COLUMBIA, MO (April 6, 2011) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces that on Friday, April 8, at 6:30 a.m., Meyer Electric will work on the traffic signal at Seventh and Broadway, weather permitting. The contractor will install a new traffic signal cabinet. While work is being done, signals will be flashing or dark and the intersection will function as an all-way stop. The work should be completed and the signal fully operational the same day, weather permitting. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route when possible.
