Traffic signal work at Providence and Vandiver

COLUMBIA, MO (April 15, 2011) - The Public Works Department announces that the Traffic Division will install a new signal cabinet and flashing yellow arrows at the intersection of Providence and Vandiver. The work will begin Monday, April 18, and should be completed on Friday, April 22, weather permitting.

While work is being done, signals will be flashing and all-way stops will be implemented. During a portion of the time, lane closures will occur on Providence Road. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
