Dig-Rite meeting planned for April 29

COLUMBIA, MO (April 22, 2011) - A Dig-Rite excavation safety meeting will be held at Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance, 101 N. Keene St., on April 29 from 2-3:30 p.m. Those concerned about trenching or excavation safety, including excavators, contractors and utility organization representatives are encouraged to attend.

          Attendees will learn about:

*Missouri One Call;

*Important steps to remember when responding to "locates" or, placing a "locate" request; and

*Excavation safety and examples of what can go wrong when trenching unsafely.

There is no cost to attend and plenty of parking will be available.
