Streetlights to be installed on Forum Boulevard
COLUMBIA, MO (January 3, 2011) - At the request of area residents, Columbia Water & Light will install streetlights on Forum Boulevard. The Columbia City Council approved the installation of 250-watt high pressure sodium lights with full cut-off fixtures, mounted on galvanized steel poles. This type of fixture focuses the light directly down on the street so the intersections will be more visible at night. Crews will start the project in the Forum Boulevard median between Green Meadows and Woodrail on Monday, Jan. 10. The streetlights will be installed at the following locations:
*Crossings Drive and Forum Boulevard
*Canterbury Drive and Forum Boulevard
*Doral Drive and Forum Boulevard
*Entrance to the Country Club of Missouri and Forum Boulevard
*Woodrail Avenue and Forum Boulevard
Crestwood Lane and Forum Boulevard
