City offices closed on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

COLUMBIA, MO (January 10, 2011) - City offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 17, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The regular City Council meeting will be held Tuesday, Jan. 18. Collection of residential refuse and recycling will be delayed one day throughout the week. The sanitary landfill will be closed, city buses will not operate and parking meters will not be enforced on Jan. 17. Though administrative offices for both the police and fire departments will be closed, all other emergency services will be available.
