Parks and Recreation Plans Facility Closings
 
Due to a winter weather forecast with significant snowfall accumulation and for the safety of customers and staff, Parks and Recreation will close its administrative office and facilities on Tuesday, Feb. 1 and Wednesday, Feb. 2.  The ARC will close at 7 pmtonight (Jan. 31). These closings include:  
 
 Parks and Recreation administrative office, #1 South 7th (GentryBuilding)
 
ARC, 1701 W. Ash 
 
Armory Sports Center and C.A.R.E. office, 701 E. Ash

Stephens Lake Activity Center, 2311 E. Walnut
 
Rock Quarry Park House, 2002 Grindstone Pkwy 
 
Riechmann Pavilion, 2300 E. Walnut
 

All recreational programs and activities scheduled to take place at any of these sites through Wednesday are cancelled. Plans are to reopen these facilities on Thursday, Feb. 3. Please check for updates at www.GoColumbiaMO.com ( http://www.gocolumbiamo.com/ ).
