Sewer work on Lakeshore Drive will begin Monday

COLUMBIA, MO (June 23, 2011) - On Monday, June 27, the Public Works Sewer Utility will begin repairing a damaged sanitary sewer main and installing a sanitary sewer manhole on Lakeshore Drive between Redbud Lane and Glenwood Avenue beginning at 8:30 a.m. The work is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, weather permitting. 

There may be temporary traffic delays due to the alternate use of one traffic lane during the sewer repairs. If the work is postponed due to inclement weather, it will be rescheduled at a later date.  

Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution when driving near the work area and use alternate routes when possible.
