Public Retirement Reception for Fire Chief William Markgraf
 
A public reception for Fire Chief William Markgraf is planned for Friday, March 4, 2011from 2-4 PMat the new City Hall building at 701 E Broadway in meeting rooms 1A and 1B. 
 
Chief William Markgraf has served the citizens of Columbiasince July of 1988 and has been an active member of the fire service for over 55 years. 
 
The reception is scheduled for the hours between 2:00and 4:00 PMwith a short presentation scheduled for 2:30 PM.
