Grindstone Parkway lane closure

COLUMBIA, MO (March 22, 2011) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces that Designer Landscape, in coordination with MoDOT, will conduct maintenance to the Grindstone Parkway median strip between Green Meadows and Rock Quarry Road March 24-25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work will require no more than one inside (left) lane of traffic be closed in each direction at any time. Designer Landscape, a contractor for THF Realty, will mulch and maintain the beds in the median strip.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution in the work area, and use an alternate route if possible. Workers will be present and vehicles will be entering and exiting the work areas frequently.
