Evacuation drill will be held at City Hall Friday

COLUMBIA, MO (May 24, 2011) - An evacuation drill will be held Friday, May 27, at 1:15 p.m. at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. A fire emergency will be simulated to practice the City Hall evacuation procedures. 

"The city wants to set the example and encourage everyone to practice emergency evacuation procedures in their homes and places of business," said George Hampton, Risk Management safety specialist. "This makes escape easier if the event is real. Knowing the evacuation procedures could save your life and the lives of those around you."
