Temporary closure of Valley Creek Lane

COLUMBIA, MO (April 5, 2012) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announces that beginning Monday, April 9, at 7 a.m. Emery Sapp & Sons Inc. will close Valley Creek Lane for the purpose of reconstructing Valley Creek Lane. These repairs are to meet the alignment of the new Clark Lane. The work is expected to take approximately three months to complete, weather permitting.

Signs will be in place to detour around Valley Creek Lane. Although Clark Lane will remain open during construction, non-local traffic is encouraged to use alternative routes to reduce the amount of traffic in the area. The public is asked to reduce speed and exercise extreme caution while driving on Clark Lane during construction.
