Changes to signal on Worley Street near mall

COLUMBIA, MO (April 10, 2012) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announces that improvements have been initiated at the Worley Street traffic signal that serves the Columbia Mall and the Shoppes at Stadium. 

Vehicle detection is being added to reduce delays at the intersection. In addition, flashing yellow arrows will be added for motorists turning left from Worley Street into the shopping centers. 

The intersection will be open to traffic throughout construction; however, the intersection will be controlled by stop signs during portions of the work. The work is expected to last approximately 30 days.
