Meeting for proposed northeast water main
COLUMBIA, MO (April 19, 2012) - Thursday, April 26th, 2012
5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Alpha Hart Lewis Elementary Media Room
5801 Arbor Point Parkway
DIRECTIONS: Head north, either on Brown Station Road or Paris Road, about 1.5 miles past Highway 63. Go west on Waco Road and then north on Arbor Point Parkway.
Columbia Water & Light's long range water plans indicate that a new 16-inch water distribution line is needed on the northeast side of town. The new water main will move large volumes of water for residential services, for fire protection and storage at the Stephens Station Water Tower. A consulting firm is helping the utility establish routes for the new water main. This meeting will review the route alternatives with area neighbors and property owners.
