Teen Bands Slated for Sixth Annual Garage Band Bash

COLUMBIA, MO (August 3, 2012) - Columbia Parks and Recreation and the Youth Community Coalition are teaming up to throw the 6th Annual "Back to School" Garage Band Bash from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, August 17. 

The bash will be held on top of the parking garage at 6th and Cherry Streets. There is an admission fee of $2.

The night will feature area teen bands: Space, Time and Beauty; Never Blue Avenue; and Searching. 

Columbia Public Works is supporting the event through the use of the parking garage. Call Parks and Recreation at 874-7460 for more information.
