Columbia Fire Department Assists Boonville Fire at 1620 Ashley Road in Boonville

COLUMBIA, MO (February 2, 2012) - The City of Boonville Fire Deparartment requested Mutual Aid for a large structure fire at 1620 Ashley Road in Boonville. At 7:50 am, through the Region F Mutual Aid Cordinator, Ladder Company 1 and a duty Battalion Chief were dispatched to assist.

Ladder 1 arrived and was put to work quickly to provide areial application of water onto the fire. Ladder 1 operated on-scene for about two and a-half hours before being released.

Ladder 1 and the duty Battalion Chief returned to Columbia and were back in quarters by 11:00 am.
