Temporary sidewalk closure on Walnut Street

COLUMBIA, MO (January 4, 2012) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces a temporary sidewalk closure along the south side of Walnut Street from Eighth Street east to the alley. Koonse Glass is replacing windows on the north side of the Guitar Building. This work will result in the sidewalk closure through January, weather permitting. This closure will only affect the sidewalk on the south side of Walnut Street. Pedestrians are asked to use an alternate route.
