Interested parties meeting for city sidewalk replacement projects

COLUMBIA, MO (January 13, 2012) - The Public Works Department announces a public meeting concerning city sidewalk replacement projects. The meeting will be held Wednesday, Jan. 18, between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, in conference room 1A.

The projects being discussed include replacing portions of the sidewalk along the following streets: Windsor, Melbourne, Ripley, Pratt, Broadway, William, Locust, Waugh and Bass. These sidewalk projects will be funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and are expected to be constructed in 2012. Information, maps and diagrams concerning the affected areas will be available for public review. City staff will be present to answer questions and receive comments.
