Temporary sidewalk closure near Fifth and Walnut Garage

COLUMBIA, MO (January 20, 2012) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces a temporary closure of the sidewalk near the Fifth and Walnut garage on Jan. 23-24. The closure will affect the sidewalk at the corner of Fifth and Walnut and near the alley on Sixth Street. Schuyler and Company LLC will wash windows on the parking garage. The sidewalks are expected to be closed for two days from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting. Pedestrians are asked to use an alternate route.
