Stephens Lake Concert Series Continues in August

COLUMBIA, MO (July 20, 2012) - The next concert in the Stephens Lake Amphitheater Concert Series is coming up. Gabriel (Gabriel Watkins and Company) will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. on August 2. The concert is free of charge. Gabriel plays a blend of jazz and smooth funk music.  

 

This year is the first time Columbia Parks and Recreation has held a summer-long concert series at the new amphitheater. More than 800 people have attended the concerts. The last one of 2012 will be held September 6 with a performance by the Norm Ruebling Band.

 

Additional parking will be available at Boone Hospital Center, directly across the park on Old Highway 63. For more information, call Parks and Recreation at 874-7460.
