Jefferson Street closure

COLUMBIA, MO (July 27, 2012) - On Tuesday, July 31, at 6 a.m., Columbia Water & Light will begin installing utilities across Jefferson Street at the intersection of Business Loop 70. Water crews will install a new water main and electric crews will install underground electrical infrastructure. The work will cause this section of Jefferson Street to be closed to through traffic. Motorists will need to detour around this area using alternate routes. The project is expected to be completed before the end of the day.
