Section of South 8th Street to Close the week of November 5

COLUMBIA, MO (November 2, 2012) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Monday, November 5, J.C. Industries of Jefferson City, MO. will temporarily close South 8th Street from Broadway to mid block of 8th Street. Access will remain open to the mid block alley on 8th Street from Cherry Street. This work should be completed and the road fully reopened no later than Friday, November 9, 2012, weather permitting. Motorists, cyclist, and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
