Boards and commissions applications are available 

COLUMBIA, MO (November 21, 2012) - The Columbia city clerk is accepting applications for boards and commissions. Applications must be received by the clerk's office, 701 E. Broadway, 2nd floor, by 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7. Applications are available at the clerk's office or on the city's website at www.GoColumbiaMo.com on the City Council page. The following are current boards and commissions openings:  

*Board of Mechanical Examiners

*Boone County Community Services Advisory Commission

*Building Construction Codes Commission

*City of Columbia New Century Fund, Inc. Board

*Columbia Community Development Commission

*Columbia Vision Commission

*Firefighters' Retirement Board

*Mayor's Committee On Physical Fitness

*Personnel Advisory Board

*Police Retirement Board

*Substance Abuse Advisory Commission
